The National Immigration Service, through Resolution No. 9049 of March 1, 2024, resolves that for all those residence permits of foreigners that expired as of March 13, 2020, will be granted until June 30, 2024, for the acceptance of applications for extension of Temporary Resident Permits, Provisional Resident Permits, or Permanent Residence Permits and Visa for Domestic Workers.
It also indicates that the filing of the aforementioned requests will be without prejudice to the cancellation of the relevant fines on a case-by-case basis.
This resolution is transitory, until June 30, 2024, after this date it remains in force in all its parts, as established in resolution No. 15, 703 of August 24, 2024.
