All the companies with 10 or more workersmust must have a Regulations Internal Work Rules of Procedure.
The labor law establishes that the Internal Labor Regulations specify the working conditions to which the employer and its employees must submit.
Since the company has the power of direction and supervision, it has the right to draw up the Internal Labor Regulations, which must be approved by the Ministry of Labor and Labor Development (MITRADEL) and made known to the workers.
The Internal Labor Regulations define the obligations of employees, the penalties for any irregularities committed and the period in which the medical certificate must be presented in the event of absences.
From the point of view of proper business management, it is important to have this instrument, which can even help to define special situations inherent to the company's business model.
It is important to get good advice and establish all the mechanisms that are convenient for the good progress of labor relations in the company.
